As a digital agency in London, we keep a lookout for local events offering enticing opportunities to retailers and designers alike in the fashion industry. It is difficult to think of many events that fit into this category more seamlessly than Pure London x JATC.

The UK’s leading fashion trade event is set to take place at the Olympia Events venue in Kensington from Sunday 14th to Tuesday 16th July 2024.

However, Pure London x JATC amounts to much more than an opportunity for fashion designers to showcase their creations to prospective B2B buyers. Indeed, a series of seminars, touching upon various facets of industry practice, has also been announced to run as part of the trade show.

How Pure London x JATC is helping to strengthen female influence

Across the three days, Pure London will be holding a total of eight catwalk shows collectively taking inspiration from many of the new season’s most noteworthy trends — including in womenswear.

It is fitting, then, that the content programme will launch on the Sunday with Georgia Charalambous, Creative Consultant at Trendhub by BDA London, giving the audience insights into some of spring/summer 2025’s must-have womenswear colours, fabrics, and patterns.

Similarly, the next day will see Gwyneth Holland — Futures Strategist at Trendhub by BDA London — deliver her own talk on key colours, materials, and patterns for SS25.

The strong female representation at Pure London x JATC will continue later into Monday, when — in partnership with the Fashion & Textile Children’s Trust — the following five influential members of the fashion community participate in a wide-ranging discussion on employee wellbeing:

  • HappyHQ co-founder Janine Jacobs
  • Fashion & Textile Children’s Trust CEO Anna Pangbourne
  • Luxury Lockstitch CEO Rachel Walker
  • Jeannie Eden, Head of People Engagement at The White Company
  • Charmaine Higgins, Boden’s People Operations Manager

The topics of conversation will include proven successful wellbeing initiatives, and how efforts to foster inclusivity in the workplace have made an impact.

How can the fashion sector adapt to contemporary challenges?

As a representative of a fashion brand, you will be able to hear quite a few answers to that question at two talks — starting with the Monday’s ‘Leveraging AI for Efficient and Effective Social Media Marketing’, delivered by Digital Women founder Lucy Hall.

AI (artificial intelligence) could indeed go on to revolutionise fashion practices — as could the urgency of tackling the environmental crisis. Also on the Monday, Fabacus founder Andrew Xeni will hold a session titled ‘Innovating Retail: The Future of Sustainable Fashion’.

On the Sunday, three sustainability experts — Sustainably Influenced founder Bianca-Francesca Foley, Neem London founder Nick Reed, and N Brown’s Sustainability Lead Joseph Mountain — will reveal how fashion brands can incorporate eco-friendliness into their work.

You can take inspiration from what you see at Pure London x JATC

After coming along to this trade show’s Pure London x JATC Awards ceremony on the Sunday and, the day after, FNAD founder Anton Dell’s inspirational chat about his own commercial success, why not email hello@skywire.co.uk for advice from our digital agency in London?

We would be pleased to discuss with you in greater detail how our creative, strategic, and marketing expertise could support your fashion, luxury, or lifestyle brand’s growth efforts throughout 2024 and beyond.
