Evidence continues to accumulate of intensifying innovation bridging the gaps between fashion and technology. One such recent development in this regard has been the Web3 luxury platform SYKY’s launch of an app for Apple Vision Pro.

SYKY has been attracting no shortage of excitement as a community-driven platform since it was established in 2022 by Alice Delahunt, formerly of Ralph Lauren and Burberry. Now, with its release of an app for Apple’s mixed-reality headset, SYKY is continuing to provide inspiration for many a lifestyle, luxury, and fashion brand’s Web3 strategy

The app promises all the immersion into elite fashion and design that one would expect from such a development for Apple Vision Pro. Ms Delahunt said that the project would “transport consumers to the front row of the fashion industry, offering them access to impeccable design and inspiration with the ultimate luxury fashion experience.”

What is the role of ANREALAGE in supporting the new SYKY app?

Helping the new SYKY app to turn even more heads than it might have otherwise done, is a showcase from ANREALAGE, the avantgarde Japanese label under Kunihiko Morinaga’s creative direction.

For the launch of the app, the label has created an exclusive colour-changing centrepiece, a dress known as “The Pyramid”. It is inspired by a bespoke gown that ANREALAGE made for Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour.

The brand typically draws upon 3D design for the realisation of its physical pieces. The creation of “The Pyramid” dress, however, constituted a novel experience for the label, enabling the designer to more deeply explore the concept of garments as inhabitable structures.

The resulting piece demonstrates that digital fashion is far from merely traditional fashion in digital form, instead being well-placed to push the boundaries of conventional clothing design.

A vital project for democratising access to exclusive fashion

The linkup between SYKY and ANREALAGE for the Apple Vision Pro app is anticipated to be just one of a series of ongoing collaborations between the Web3 platform and leading fashion houses with global prominence.

Users of the app will be able to explore digital extensions of design spaces, ateliers, fashion presentations, new retail environments, and custom-designed items. It is an initiative aimed at broadening high fashion’s reach and democratising access to prestige style.

With the app being available as a free download for Apple Vision Pro users, it is expected to mark a shift towards incorporating advanced technology into the fashion industry.

Are you on the lookout for ways to optimise your own fashion, lifestyle, or luxury brand’s Web3 strategy to boost its visibility, impact, and growth? If so, Skywire London has experts on hand in such fields as blockchain and cryptocurrency, who would be pleased to discuss how we could assist your drive towards success.
