Once every 2 years the Skywire team embarks on a country weekend retreat to Somerset. Tonedale house is the gorgeous Georgian style manor house with beautifully landscaped gardens where our directors exchanged their wedding vows and is now the Skywire teams haven house.

The weekend acts as a huge team-building occasion. Friday hosts a fantastic dinner party with a lavish array of food and exotic dishes made by each and every guest allowing us to explore our palettes with flavours from all over the world.

Saturday is the main event and the much-anticipated fancy dress party. This year’s theme was ‘Romance’ with it being Valentine’s Day and all and the outfits were exceptionally creative. From an engagement ring to Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn to Tinder and Cupid to a romantic dinner table for two and even Austin Powers the outfits were remarkable…and rather amusing.

With the addition of Mars Bar vodka (which went down a treat may I add), the weekend in all was simply glorious, tranquil and ever so entertaining. So much so that half team have been off sick this week. Good effort all round.
