Junior Front-end Web Developer

Who we are

Skywire is the leading London based eCommerce agency focusing on the Luxury, Fashion and Lifestyle sectors. Our clients include De Beers, Three Floor Fashion, Cordings and Corney & Barrow.

Role

Skywire is growing and looking for a Junior Front-end Web Developer to join our development team. Your job will be to create awesome user experiences by developing bespoke and unique code and styles for our clients eCommerce sites. Working closely with our design and client services team to deliver the experiences that our clients want their customers to experience.

Who would the role suit?

This role would suit a Junior Web Developer with 1 year or more experience who would be joining a small team that will be growing fast, you’ll be ready to develop and progress your career, with a great team ethos and support structure.

Requirements

The main requirements of this role:

• HTML – Excellent
• CSS – Good
• JavaScript – Basic/Good
• Good face-to-face and written communication of ideas
• Attention to detail
• At least one year of commercial experience (in house or agency)

Nice to have:

• SCSS, SASS,, LESS or PostCSS experience
• jQuery, Knockout, Prototype or VueJSexperience
• MySQL
• PHP
• Git
• Ecommerce
• WordPress
• Magento 2

Compensation and benefits

• £25-30k depending on experience
