Skywire is looking for a Mid-Level Web Developer to join the team at our London studios.

You will be responsible for taking designs from Photoshop, converting into coded templates and integrating in Magento. You'll also be required to create extensions to add functionality and integrate 3rd party systems(stock/payment).

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3 years commercial/industry experience
  • experience building transactional Magento sites (Enterprise a plus)
  • excellent attention to detail (pixel-perfectionist and validation obsessive)
  • permission to work in the EU

Skills/Qualifications/Knowledge:

  • hand-coded (X)HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (HTML5/CSS3 a plus)
  • JavaScript libraries such as jQuery and Prototype
  • PHP(OO/MVC) and MySQL based development
  • standards-based, accessible, cross-browser web development (you don't let your hatred of IE6 prevent you supporting it)
  • Git, SVN or another version control system
  • Linux systems in a web-oriented context
  • Mobile development a plus

This role is based at our newly refurbished studios in Notting Hill. Salary will be commensurate with experience and you'll also benefit from a decent holiday allowance and flexible hours.
